Now if you are doing spitting or urinating in public places in Delhi then you have to pay 1000 Rs fines. This step has been taken to prevent the spread of corona virus infection. New Delhi Municipal Corporation (NDMC) have disallowed anybody spitting or urinating out in the open spots with prompt impact.
NDMC Secretary Amit Singla said that spitting or urinating in public places would be prohibited while ensuring strict adherence to instructions to prevent the spread of corona virus. The person who violates will be fined Rs 1,000.
The South Delhi Municipal Corporation said in an explanation that it has carefully disallowed spitting or urinating out in the open spots. The corporation has decided to fine of Rs 1,000 on any such infringement. The Commissioner has the power to impose and recover the fine on the violators, which is also entrusted to all license inspectors, public health inspectors, sanitary inspectors and malaria inspectors.
Officials said that officers in all the four areas of SDMC have been instructed to strictly follow these instructions. The challan will be issued to the violators and the fine will be recovered on the spot. If the violator does not have the money to pay the fine, then the corporation officer will know the exact address of the person with the identity card. He told that if the person who violated it did not even have an identity card, his picture would be taken from the phone and the information given by him would be submitted.
