According to the Health Ministry, there have been 39 deaths due to corona virus since Tuesday evening, raising the death toll to 392. There has been an increase of 1118 cases of infection from covid-19, increasing the number of cases to 11,933 on Wednesday.
39 people have died since Tuesday evening. Of these, 6 deaths have been reported from Uttar Pradesh, 18 from Maharashtra, 3 from Madhya Pradesh, 4 from Gujarat, two each from Karnataka and Delhi and one each from Tamil Nadu, Punjab, Telangana and Meghalaya.
Out of a total of 392 deaths, Maharashtra has the highest number of 178 deaths, followed by 53 in Madhya Pradesh, 30-30 in Delhi and Gujarat, 18 in Telangana. There have been 13 deaths in Punjab, 12 in Tamil Nadu, while 11-11 have occurred in Uttar Pradesh and Karnataka. There have been nine deaths in Andhra Pradesh, seven in West Bengal. In Jammu and Kashmir, four people have died due to covid-19, while three people have died in Kerala, Haryana and Rajasthan. There have been two deaths in Jharkhand. According to ministry data, one death each occurred in Meghalaya, Bihar, Himachal Pradesh, Odisha and Assam. There have been at least 11,946 cases of covid-19 and 405 deaths.
Covid-19 cases in Rajasthan have increased to 1,005. After this there are 987 in Madhya Pradesh, 735 in Uttar Pradesh and 695 in Gujarat. There are 647 cases in Telangana, followed by 503 in Andhra Pradesh and 387 in Kerala. Corona virus cases have increased to 278 in Jammu and Kashmir, 277 in Karnataka, 213 in West Bengal and 199 in Haryana. So far, 186 cases of infection have been reported in Punjab.
There are 27 cases in Jharkhand, 21 in Chandigarh and 17 cases in Ladakh, while 11 cases have been reported from Andaman and Nicobar Islands. Bihar has reported 70 cases, while Odisha has 60 cases of corona virus. 37 people have been infected with the virus in Uttarakhand while 33-33 cases have been reported in Himachal Pradesh, Assam and Chhattisgarh.
Seven-seven cases of Kovid-19 have been reported in Meghalaya, Goa and Puducherry, two each in Manipur and Tripura, while one each in Mizoram and Arunachal Pradesh.
